Historical Background

1st SURGICONCEPT is a French company located in the metropolis of Lille, known for its economic dynamism and its industrial know-how in the medical field (EURASANTE Park).

Jean FRISMAND, doctor in medicine and graduate in biomechanics, has a 20 year long experience in the design and manufacture of surgical implants in the following areas: Orthopaedic Surgery, Visceral, Neurological, gynaecology; Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery.


Many materials are known and controlled including ceramics, titanium and stainless steels, polyester based textiles, polypropylene, silicone products, resorbable products such as PLLA and composites combining these different materials.

The technical implementation and transformation are unique to these materials, manufacturing for hard products, knitting, weaving, weaving for textiles, machining, molding and injection for polymers and elastomers, mechanical and manual assembly of all these components.

Our business has always been to develop products according to practitioners specifications and in partnership with these practitioners.

This work is the result of a close collaboration between engineers and users' needs. For all these exchanges (sharing of expertise, sharing of operation processes), 1st SURGICONCEPT offers a guarantee in terms of confidentiality and industrial property.
